When: Tuesday, May 29
Where: Thomas Jefferson Unitarian Church
4936 Brownsboro Rd, Louisville, KY 40222
Greetings District 7 neighbor. As your Louisville Metro Council representative I continue to strive to bring a personal approach to addressing the issues that affect you and your neighborhood. I would like to invite you to join me at our next District 7 Dialogue on Tuesday, May 29 at 6:30PM. I plan to provide you updates on District 7 projects, the city’s budget process and District 7 transportation proposals. We will also be joined by representatives from various local utilities and Louisville Metro agencies.
We are partnering with the Louisville Metro Police Department to offer a Drug Take Back program at the meeting. This provides you an opportunity to clean out your medicine cabinet and safely dispose of old or unused medications to ensure that they are not accidentally used, or intentionally misused. This is one way that we have found to help combat the current opioid crisis in our community. I have also partnered with St. Matthews Community Pharmacy who will be on site to provide anyone with commercial health insurance a Hepatitis A vaccine.
I encourage you to continue to stay in touch by sending me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by signing up for my bi-weekly electronic newsletter. The District 7 eNews is an excellent resource for District 7 updates, town hall meeting announcements and more! I hope that together we can continue getting positive results in District 7.
